Instructor Terms

Terms for publishing and selling courses on Vallume, including review, content rights and payouts.

Version 1.0Effective 2 Nov 2026

These Instructor Terms apply to anyone who publishes courses on Vallume ("Instructor"). They are in addition to our Terms of Use. By applying to teach or publishing a course, you agree to them.

1. Becoming an instructor

  • Apply through your instructor profile with accurate details of your qualifications and experience. We may verify them and may decline an application.
  • If you describe yourself as an advocate, you must hold a valid enrolment with a State Bar Council.

2. Course content

  • Every course is reviewed by our team before it goes on sale. We may ask for changes or decline a course, and may unpublish a course later if it breaks these terms.
  • Content must be accurate, up to date, your own original work or properly licensed, and follow our Community Guidelines.
  • Courses are educational. Do not present course material as legal advice for a specific case, and do not use courses to solicit clients.
  • You are responsible for keeping content current when the law changes, or for marking it as outdated.

3. Licence to Vallume

You keep ownership of your course. You give Vallume (Global) Legal and AI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, stream, display, market and sell the course and to sublicense it to learners for as long as it is published, and to learners who bought it for as long as they keep access under the Terms of Use. You also allow us to use your name, photo, bio and short extracts of the course to promote it.

4. Pricing and sales

  • You set the course price within the limits shown in the instructor panel. Prices are shown to learners in INR or USD depending on their location.
  • Vallume may run promotions and coupons. Where a promotion reduces the price, your share is calculated on the amount actually paid.

5. Revenue share and payouts

  • You earn the revenue share shown in your instructor dashboard on each sale, calculated on the amount paid excluding taxes, payment gateway charges and refunds.
  • Earnings become available for payout once the refund window of 7 days has passed. Refunded sales are not paid out, and an amount already paid for a sale later refunded may be deducted from future earnings.
  • Payouts are made to the bank account or UPI ID you add, after you complete payout verification. You are responsible for the accuracy of those details.
  • Tax is deducted at source where the law requires, and you are responsible for your own tax returns and any GST registration that applies to you.

6. Learners

Respond to learner questions in a reasonable time and treat learners respectfully. Do not collect learners' personal data off-platform or contact them for purposes other than the course without their consent.

7. Ending the arrangement

You may unpublish a course at any time; learners who already bought it keep access. We may suspend instructor access for a breach of these terms. Earnings already cleared remain payable unless they relate to fraud or a breach.

8. Warranties and indemnity

You confirm you have all rights needed to publish your course and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break any law. You agree to compensate Vallume for claims arising from your content.
